What the regulations say

Company Certification

UNI EN ISO 14001. This regulation concerns organisations that wish to integrate the environmental aspect into their production strategies, with the main goal of reducing the pollution dangers linked to bad environmental management and of eliminating the risk of sanctions for violations of mandatory provisions.

End-of-Life products

European Directive 2000/53/CE

It concerns unusable vehicles and aims at “preventing the production of waste from vehicles other than reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of unusable vehicles and their components, so as to reduce the amount of waste to be disposed out and improve the performance of all economic subjects involved in the use cycle of vehicles and, in particular, of those who are directly involved in the treatment of end-of-life vehicles”.

European Directive 2002/96/CE

This directive is specific for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, and says that “the attribution of manufacturer liability through this directive is one of the instruments to be implemented in order to encourage planning and production of electronic equipment that take into account and facilitate repairs, updates, re use, dismantling and recycling”.
