PRIVACY INFORMATION as per Section 13 LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/2003

Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30.06.2003 (Regulation concerning safeguarding of personal data), lays down the obligation for anyone holding personal data to inform the owner of such data, where ‘holding’ is understood to be any operation or group of operations carried out with or without the aid of electronic means, regarding the collection, processing, retention, communication, diffusion etc. of the data.

The holder of the data is Cobra Automotive Technologies S.p.a., head office in Via Astico 41, 21100 Varese (Italy)

INFORMATION re HANDLING DATA

 

We hereby offer you the information as to the collection and treatment of your personal data as provided for by section 13 of Decree no. 196/2003.

 

INFORMATION re WHAT IS HELD

 

The information referred to regards your personal data which are held by our company, both what has been collected up till now and what will be acquired in future, both directly and through third parties – i.e. by other entities, databases, public institutions etc.

 

REASON FOR HOLDING DATA

 

This is exclusively for the object of recruiting and selecting personnel.

 

HOW DATA ARE HELD

 

The data will be held both manually and with the aid of electronic systems and, in general, with all those means technologically available, in due compliance with the requirements of the law. Data will be handled with due diligence and confidence.

 

THOSE TO WHOM DATA MAY BE COMMUNICATED

 

The data may be communicated, only and exclusively within the framework of the reason illustrated above, to data processing companies, always in due compliance with the law; companies controlled by us, linked to us or in any case partners. The data may therefore be transferred abroad, always in due compliance with the law.

 

RIGHTS OF THOSE TO WHOM THE DATA REFER

 

These are safeguarded by section 7 of the above-mentioned Decree 196/2003 which, for your further information, are herewith included.

 

Article 7 – Right of access to personal data and other rights

 

1. The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data which regard him/her, even though not yet recorded, and to have the data communicated in intelligible form.

2. The person concerned has the right to obtain specifically:

    a) the source of the personal data;

    b) the purpose for which the data is held and how held;

    c) the logic applied in case of electronic systems being used to aid holding;

    d) details of the holder of the data, as well as the person(s) responsible or delegated to the task if nominated as

    per article 5, clause 2;

    e) those persons or categories to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become acquainted

    with them as designated representative or person responsible within the territory of the State;

3. The person concerned has the right to obtain:

    a) the updating, rectification, or, should he/she be interested, the integration of the data;

    b) the cancellation, the transformation in anonymity or the blockage of data handled in violation of the law,

    including those whose retention is not necessary as regards the purpose for which such data have been collected

    or subsequently heldc) certification that the operations as per a) and b) above have been made known, also as

    regards their content, to anyone to whom the data have been communicated or diffused, unless such fulfilment

    prove to be impossible or entail the use of means clearly out of all proportion to the right that is safeguarded.

4. The person concerned has the right to refuse wholly or in part:

    a) for good reason, that the personal data regarding him/her be held, even though in accordance with the purpose

    of the collection;

    b) the holding of personal data that regard him/her for the forwarding of advertising material or direct sales or for the purpose of market research or commercial communication.
